My name is Piotr Holonowicz and I am 29 years old PhD student from Poland. I started to work at Music Technology Group at IUA, UPF in March, 2007. To my main areas of interest belongs programming (C++, Python, Matlab and many others), artificial inteligence, machine learning, robotics and audio. At my free time I travel a lot, party and play ping pong with the MTG members. Currently I speak Polish(native), English (fluently), German (average), Russian (basic), now I am learning Spanish.
For the lab exercises your solutions will be evaluated and form part of the grade you will be given for the course. Only one submission is required for each working group of two students. Please submit your answers on paper indicating your group number, your names, and your matriculation numbers (NIA). The submission deadline is always the beginning of the next lab class, unless I point another date explicitly. Late submissions can maximally yield an aprobado (5 points).In case of questions you can contact me via e-mail (please add phrase "Speech processing lab" to the subject field, for example "Speech processing lab - I cannot download file lab2.zip").
Here are zipped manuals and data necessary to do the exercises. They might be updated during the course, so you may check the date of the file before downloading by keeping the mouse pointer over the link for a short time. The manual describes what is to be done during the lab and the output the student have to submit.
