Jaume Barcelo received his B. Sc. degree in Telecommunications from the Universitat de les Illes Balears. After a short period with the Radio Communications Research Group at Kaiserslautern Universität, he moved to Barcelona where he obtained his M.Sc from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. He holds a Ph.D. from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, where he is currently a postdoctoral researcher with the Network Technologies and Strategies (NeTS) research group. His research interests are in the field of MAC protocols for WLANs.
